So, unless you are into a lake drive - I would stop at the ones scottca075 mentions to play on Lake Tahoe. Other place is South Lake Tahoe - but it always feels like a ghost town to us - not a lot of action any more since they built the Indian Gaming Casinos in the Sacramento area. The larger casinos all have sports books - probably Peppermill is the best followed by Atlantis. ![]() You will have your opportunity to play all day and all night. Just mentioning in case you want to get to Reno also - Reno Downtown has many casinos there is also the Peppermill, Atlantis and a lot more smaller casinos there as well. The buffet there is good too as well as 2 fine dining places (Roxy's and La Strada). We were there opening night and the dance troop was awesome. If you like Michael Jackson, the El Dorado Hotel there has a good show playing through August 3 called Man in the Mirror.
